By accessing or using GhostBox desktop application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Application.

GhostBox is a desktop application that provides a discreet interface for capturing screenshots of educational content and submitting them to AI processing services. The application is designed to be undetectable by screen recording and monitoring software commonly used during online examinations.

The Service allows users to:

Capture screenshots of educational content and questions
Submit these screenshots to AI processing services
Receive AI-generated responses and assistance
Use a specialized window that remains invisible to screen monitoring software

3. User Responsibilities and Conduct

By using GhostBox, you understand and agree that:

You are responsible for your use of the Service and compliance with any applicable academic policies, honor codes, and laws.
You will not use the Service for illegal purposes or to violate any applicable laws.
You will not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the Application.
You will not distribute, lease, license, sell, or otherwise commercially exploit the Service or make it available to a third party.
You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all academic integrity policies of your educational institution.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

The Application and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by GhostBox and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

5. Subscription and Payment

GhostBox is available as a paid service. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to pay the fees listed at the time of purchase. All purchases are final and non-refundable unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to change our pricing structure at any time.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall GhostBox, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service;
Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service;
Any content obtained from the Service; and
Unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content
Academic consequences resulting from the use of our Service

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.

GhostBox does not warrant that a) the Service will function uninterrupted, secure or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the Service will meet your requirements.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
